7.27.18 NEWSBOYS UNITED TOUR BLOG (NUMERO 13)
And we’re BACK!
After our “little” 18 day break from the Newsboys United Tour, we’re back in action and we’re firing all cylinders by the looks of it.
This weekend found the band on the South East coast in Wilmington NC, Aiken SC, Savannah GA, and Panama City FL!
The first night in Wilmington was such a great return to form. After a day of hanging out at the beach, our tanks were full and we felt ready to take the stage by storm. What a great night!!
Savannah, GA just happens to be one the band’s favorite cities in America, so to get to play back at the same venue we played in 2016 with MercyMe was a total blast. We spent the day exploring, drinking coffee from our favorite spot, “Coffee Fox,” and of course hanging by the river. The show in Savannah was perhaps the best show we’ve ever played - whether it was the city, the crowd, the Lord (its always the Lord, but hear me out), or just a great example of the band firing on all cylinders, the “mojo” was felt and we left Savannah on cloud 9.
Our last show found us coastal, yet again, in Panama City, where the venue was directly next to the Marina. The day was gloomy and windy, but we still found ourselves adventuring around the Marina looking at sailboats and talking about the open seas. We’re definitely all dreaming about having a boat one day!!
This week we’ve been on the road in Paducah, KY and tonight, we’re in Columbia, MO.
We’ll fill you in on what’s happening soon!
